Unlike traditional systems which require the presence of sunlight to heat water, the Future Generation Energy thermodynamic heating system provides hot water day and night, by capturing not only direct solar radiation but also heat from the atmosphere (air, wind, and even rain). This system doesn’t need sunlight or even daylight to work! The light and versatile panels can be installed facing any direction and — unlike almost all other solar heating water systems on the market — it can supply 100 percent of your hot water needs.

What size tank do I need for my business?
Future Generation Energy's thermodynamic systems come with a 1,000 to 6,000 litres capacity water tank, depending on the model chosen. It is also possible to link multiple systems together if a higher capacity is required by your business.
I have an existing system in place; do I have to change my current tank?
The Future Generation Energy's thermodynamic system requires a high grade insulated stainless tank. If you have one already in place, we can retro-fit the new system using your stainless steel tank. Otherwise, we will have to install a new tank.
How often do I have to get it maintained?
Virtually no maintenance is necessary, but we do advise replacing the anode in the hot water tank annually. In the event of unforeseen maintenance being necessary, this can all be done from the site of the tank. There is never a need to access the roof!
Does it matter which way the panel faces?
We recommend the panel(s) face South, East or West preferably; but if it needs to face North, it loses efficiency by 2% only.
What is my return on the system?
The return on your investment is based on your energy consumption, typically 4-7 years.
